We did it!! Yatttaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Huahuahuahua. Seriously,I was deliriously happy early this morning, when I read an sms on my mobile (where else?) .The said sms brought happy news. And the happy news ..jeng jeng jeng..drum rolls...We won ! Against another bidder. Huhu..the much coveted item(s) now belong to Miss Nona,(whatever is hers ,is ours--for consultation fee, bidding process help n etc). For RM 51.00 ,a set of Penyiasat Remaja Q+special edition will arrive to our humble abode in Seremban Selatan this Friday Morning,Allah willing. Only comic lovers I guess will understand the joy we felt . I am superglad I bought a lot of comics in my teens for my siblings to read. HaHa Comics aside,anak-anak ramalan are currently busy dabbling in the world of auction. One of these days u might see us in Sotheby,Dorotheum or maybe in the revered Stockholm Auction House .The eldest and youngest sisters are busy auctioning in Neopets(hahahha) while the richer and bounteous second sister bid a lot of herbalife products in ebay OZ(???) Last week, I purchased (with my sis' money) an 8 gig mp4 player, free shipped to the OZ. Huahua cannot wait to fill the player with a lot of islamic documentaries, sermons and Harun Yahya's book ..(winking to my dear father). Because of the time difference anak-anak ramalan managed to outbid, outplay these rotten spoilt anak- anak orangputih. Heh. But condolences to Nona whose dream was shattered. iPOD mana nak dapat dalam lingkungan 50 dollar AUD tu..kirimsalam je lah!! Ok,i will be busy this following week! Cinta forever, Nad Nad | puteri nad at 9:44 PM ![]() Pengajaran Sains dan Matematik dalam Bahasa Inggeris You kno wat? I really didnt know what to expect from Malaysian public. And I didnt get it,why the Malays are so against teaching of these two subjects in English? What's with Ketuanan Melayu getting in the way of Sc n M3 being taught in English? There's no correlation between the two. T correlation?Pearson Coefficient Correlation? ![]() I read an article, written from a teacher's perspective in Cikgu Azleen dot com She highlighted ,the plight of a parent who wanted the subjects to revert back to BM's teaching simply because he/she/they (donno wether both parents or wat) couldnt help their kids with homework. They want their children to be like that too?? Am super glad my parents instilled the love of books since we were small. Starting from BM and simple english for kids book to Shakespeare and A.Samad Said (the old guy was tear gassed just now because he was against the move-Please do not use tear gas,let the people voice their opinion howsoever we wanted, wether we are against or in favor! We claimed our country as a free country, No?) ![]() ![]() Back to the subject , why I am all for the usage of English in Malaysian classroom is because simply I want us Malay to be at the same level with our Chinese and Indian friends. Now they have to study a lot harder to understand rather that the usual lackadaisical attitude toward the language. Some write very well but when ask to speak ,all hells broke loose. Second, when in uni a lot of materials these students are gonna use are written in English. Why must you prolong their meetings with these English textbooks at 19 rather than when they were merely small innocent schoolkids. ![]() And the craziest notion I heard a friend argued with me was,by using Bahasa Inggeris in our classrooms, other races than Malay will not know how to converse in BM.Boohoo my dear friend..Boo! (:p) even now,u can see a lot of them struggling even with BM being the only language taught (except when english, mandarin, tamil, arabic, telugu classes were in session of course). Even after 52 years of independence ,not even the Malays are proficient in Malay anymore. The landscape and time is changing. Malaysia must change too. I for one, also want BM not to disappear from this earth but a year or two back,i heard a painful comments from a minister in very very very very BAD english in al-jazeera so I want all Malaysian kids to speak well in English. Just because the two subjects will be in English, that doesnt mean our language will perish. Please be a little more open-minded and stop dwelling in shallowness. We are no Flintstones. Majulah bangsa untuk negara. Untuk maju terimalah perubahan. I welcome feedbacks . p/s: All images are yahoo-searched. Keris from Zuraisham. A Samad Said from Wazari Love, | puteri nad at 4:28 PM ![]() My littlest sister is now 19 ![]() Whoa,my sis is a big girl already, soon you'll be twenty-ish then thirty-ish then forty-ish. Lets grow old together all the four of us living nearby, being mad at each other everyday.Emo.Screaming at the top of our lungs.Gossiping. And me having an easy life no need to cook for my children since my sisters and bro nearby to cook for them.ahaha.I will bring your kids to park and holiday ~LOL The so cute little girl has grown into a lady now. [and dont put words into my mouth,i said you were cute when you were small. *evil grin*]. I remember being so mad at her, because she was this super talented news anchor/reporter/broken radio. We ,Jela and I usually kept from her any secret because the secret will no longer be a secret then.. Even with her mass com talent at that time, we still managed to blackmail her. But nowadays I can trust her with my bank account and everything. ![]() When I was in my secondary years,Nawa and Jela loved to gang up against me.They did things together. They slept in the same room [tp bila takut, datang menempel jua kat bilik kakaknye] But my aunt once gave me this lovely pen with this saying engraved on the box "One does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the quality of their actions and the integrity of their intent. In the end, leaders are like eagles ... they do not flock, you find them one at a time" Hehe. How appropriate. ![]() ![]() Awa loved to hug hug me when she was small, now she's kinda segan to hug me in public. There was this one incident ,we were linking our hands-hugging and walking and then a group of hot young UIA boys passed us by,u guess what she did? kekekekeke ![]() So now single guys or attached-guys-but-fed-up-w-current-girlfriends please send me your resume if you want to meet up with my sister.Kinda like Japanese Omiai Miai (見合い, literally "looking at each other") or omiai (お見合い, where the "o" is honorific) is a Japanese custom whereby unattached individuals are introduced to each other to consider the possibility of marriage. In China, this custom is called xiangqin (相親, literally "mutual familiarity"). I prefer someone rock solid in his religious foundation, and can get along well with me because I am a very bossy elder sister. And your other sis-in-law is a very sensitive one. Be prepared.Haha.And not to mention, you will have a reincarnation of Shin Chan as a bro. ![]() Jokes aside,I would like to wish my dearest adik (sekarang da acik, because haziq wants to be called adik officially) a very happy birthday. May this year and the year ahead brings you happiness, financial security, expensive holidays, glittery earrings and 3 michelin stars dinners. ![]() Suffice to say, I love u v much.
